JUST WHAT I NEEDED

First, let me tell you that I still have not had any headaches! Praise God! Second, as I said in an earlier post that some adjustments God wants me to make are difficult but after talking to a friend (thank you, God for putting her in my life) she put a perspective on the situation that I had not thought about. God puts people in your life for a reason and it is so nice when you know you can talk about things that seem unclear and they won't judge you. Third, i need to start writing my praises down, i write my prayers because i have a short memory and while Iam reading or praying I might think of someone or some area I need to be praying about. Iam quick to pray or ask God for something but come up short thanking him for my praises. Sometimes it will just hit me out of the blue, Oh, Wow! God answered my prayer and sometimes others have recognized my own praises. I feel like i insulted God when I don't even recognize it myself. I need to open my eyes wider and praise him for so much more than I deserve. Like i said I have a short memory so if I wrote them down, i think it would help me to grow.
Now to my story of Just What I Needed:
I was driving to church Sunday praying God, please help me not to judge, help me to receive a blessing today. Are you ready for how God is working in my life?
The sermon was titled "Give Me Jesus" from Matthew 7: 1-5. You don't have to look it up, I will tell you it is a chapter where Jesus is teaching about judging others!
Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the
same way you judge others, you will be judged, and
with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Wow! That's not coincidental God knew my struggles and placed me right where I needed to be. The pastor gave us a quote and I could not write fast enough - It is impossible to fellowship with God when you are in a critical mood! My first praise in my what I know will become a very long list!
