REBUKING SATAN

Satan is a wise, sneaky attacking giant! He will pop up when you least expect him. He will pull out all the stops to bring you down, slow you down or just plain defeat you. Then he sits back and laughs! Got the picture? Know the feeling?

God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12

Life is a spiritual battle. It seems more and more I just get to the end of my rope when God reminds me of his love. Wherever Iam when this comes to mind I say, sometimes screaming SATAN I REBUKE YOU, GET OUT OF MY HOUSE, MARRIAGE, CAR wherever i might be or whatever the situation might be at the time.
Just think the harder he works the bigger the blessing we receive. So press on through the battle. As it says in Ephesians, Put on the full armor of God so you can stand your ground.

DON'T LET SATAN WIN, STAND YOUR GROUND!

WONDERING

It happens to even the best people. Your just going along with life when something hits, bad, sad, least expected. Iam wondering if sometimes these things happening is God's way of reminding us that life is so precious. This is not a trial run. You never know what tomorrow holds so you better be ready today. Don't wait to tell someone what they mean to you, don't wait to smile at someone, don't wait to share Jesus when you have the chance. Live with no regrets. Don't hold back. For myself don't complain about how tired you are, you may not be tired tomorrow!

This was in an e-mail and i thought they were good tips. You might like them too.

1. Allow yourself to be transformed by adversity. While you're enduring hardship, you might as well learn some things.

2. Nurture good, loving relationships. Be a good listener and friends will be there for you when your hard times hit.

3. Adopt a curious spirit. Look for chances to experiment, make mistakes, laugh and grow.

4. Learn to embrace the hand you've been dealt. You are the unique beautiful person you are because of your trials.

5. Enjoy the opposites: Be strong and gentile, sensitive and tough (It makes you fascinating to others!).

PRAISES

I have to be more aware of God's praises!
I have been praying for God to bring Danny work. Some of his work has been out of town. I have been complaining about him not being at home and being lonely. He had a meeting trying to get a big job and I even asked a friend to pray at the time of the meeting with me. Which i know she did. He got the job! I didn't know it was out of town until after he got the job. Then it struck me GOD answered my prayer. I have to be mindful that God doesn't always answer when or how we want but how and when he wants.

THANK YOU GOD FOR WORK!!

STARTING TO BLOG AGAIN

I really want to start blogging again! There is so much Iam learning. I have such a hunger and a thirst for God's word it seems I cannot get enough. But that's a good thing because you can never get enough, you can never know it all. It is a continual learning process to get you thru each day, each joy, each trial. I have been reading The Spiritual Art of Creative Silence by Jeanie Miley. When i came upon this little treasure i wanted to share. My prayer is that somebody, somewhere will benefit from anything i share here. So I will be sharing more!

This is taken from the book:

When seeking guidance, then, it is important to look to God instead of at the dilemma. Pray to him instead of to the problem. Instead of focusing your attention on the problem, thereby creating what you don’t want, focus on God and his provision. As you commit your efforts to him, wait in relaxed receptivity for him to guide.
As you give yourself to God and allow him to work in you, God will open and deepen your awareness. You will know – without knowing how you know. You will have insight and understanding that you cannot prove or document.
The gift of knowing, when you don’t know how you know, is the gift of discernment. It is a gift only when it is infused with the love of God and paired with a willingness to obey.
We do not need to ask God to be with us; he is always there. We must become so accustomed to his nearness that we know we have found the place where we are never alone
You are here now, in this present moment.
You are to leave the past to God’s mercy.
You are to place the future in God’s care.
Be fully present here, now, in the love of God.

I stand amazed. I know it's OK to not understand. It's a great feeling to continue to be in awe of God's work. It's OK to know and not know how I know. The stronger you get the harder it gets. To know God is a REALLY GOOD FEELING!

HAPPY SUNDAY!

Don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:34

Sixteen years ago today I married Danny! I keep thinking about our vows. Do you Jenny take this man to be your husband? The most I can remember is: In sickness and in health, for richer or poor, til death do you part. The answer was Yes,yes, yes! I had no idea the level of commitment I was taking. I have never doubted for a minute that Danny doesn't love me. He has always told me, he would not want to live without me. If i could change one thing about that day it would be that God would have been in our relationship. I hope and pray that God gives us another 16 together. I know it won't all be good but it will be better!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
